Our Santa in the City team are committed to delivering a sustainable event. Making sure we protect the environment where we can, support our charity partners, and ensure the event is inclusive is very important to us. Below is how we are delivering our commitment,
Santa in the City is working with many partners to ensure that we protect the environment where we can. We are committed to this through the following:
All Santa suits are packaged using recycled plastic and those that are returned to us are recycled via our local recycling partner, Capital Recycle.
Santa in the City medals are now made of wood and sourced from a UK supplier.
Our event guide is only available in digital format for you to download and share.
Runner numbers, cups, flyers, and packaging are produced from recycled materials and sourced in the UK.
Santa in the City is working in our community to promote local and national charities, but also to help them raise vital funds so they can keep making an impact. Each year we are committed to:
Choosing a lead charity partner, and this year it is Sarcoma UK.
Promote any charity that is participating in the event on our charity page.
Free places for community groups, charities, and schools.

Santa in the City is working to be a more inclusive event every year. We understand that if we can remove more of the barriers to entry we can only become a more diverse and inclusive event. We are committed to:

Santa in the City is a non-timed event suitable for runners and walkers of all abilities
BSL representative at the event.
All under-18’s run for free, but please remember they must be registered using the Child Registration Form and accompanied by an adult at all times.
